Light Amplification 2.0
March 22-April 16, 2016
Exploring the dynamic relationship between light and color, Donn Delson’s exhibition entitled Light Amplification 2.0 transforms common conceptions of photography.
While there are definite relational ties to his first study using laser light, and similar aspects of precision and control, this series is more free form and experimental. Minimally adjusted in post, all images are composed within the camera.
“Obsessed by light amplification, and inspired by installation and multimedia artists such as James Turrell and Jose Parla’s ability to combine light and color, breathing dimension into their work, I am attempting to accomplish that same surreal sense of space, photographically.”
